About
Beyond Safety Planning
Clients can experience considerable safety concerns and crises can arise. This requires the implementation of a safety plan. This training seeks to elevate the knowledge of all clinicians in safety planning for their clients and families. Topics discussed include risk assessment, safety planning, and how to continue the safety conversation after the initial plan is written. This training will lean on clinicians’ experiences with crises. It will involve some didactic instruction, though it will largely focus on group discussion and small group exercises based on real-life scenarios.
